Greetings folks,
Started getting an error on friday that is not only baffling me, its baffling my helpdesk crew as well. I am using Access 2003.
I had been getting the occasional MS Access exception error when attempting to save my database. Compact and repair usually fixed the problem but it kept happening from time to time.
Then on friday, I went to create an event proc for the OnCurrent event of a form. When I did so , I got the following error (see screenshoterror2) "C++ runtime library error" which shutdown access immediately. I then re-opened the database, did a compact and repair and once again attemped to enter in code, this time getting a MS Access exception error (see screenshoterror1). Compacting and repair did not help and I now get the MS Access Exception error all the time.
Some other remedies I've tried:
If anyone can possibly shed some light on this or offer up some suggestions, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
Tim

Creating a new DB and importing all from the old
Create a new DB, then create a table, then a form and attempted to add code to the form, yielding the results up above.
My helpdesk team has reinstalled Access twice which has not helped
If anyone can possibly shed some light on this or offer up some suggestions, it would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
