MS Access Runtime

I have an electronic flashcard application which I am nearly ready to give to several grandchildren for theier usew and amusement.

This program will need to run on computers that do not have a full version is access installed. MS Access runtime was suggested by someone who admits that he has never used it. Does anyone have any experience with runtime, or have suggestions for a better program.

I now use access 2003 runtime to distribute a front end to users linked to a backend.

I have found that running a Virtual Machine as a test bed invaluble as things like action queries will carry on asking if the user wants to amend, add etc records if turned off on the machine with a full copy of access reappear in the runtime version and other little foilbles of access.
