MS Access2007 - Is a report been printed?

Depending on the fact that a report has been printed or just viewed in preview, the data for the report has to be saved or not for later use.
In this context i would like to know how by mean of vba code can be checked that the report has been printed or not?

I did a similar thing but a slightly different approach:

Had command buttons on the report to preview only and seperate ones which would prit to PDF and save to a specified folder. Once the PDF had been printed it filled in a date field and flagged a check box which then locked the record to any further edits (in this case and invoice) hides the print buttons and replaced them with "print copy"

If an error occured during print to PDF it cancelled the operation and allows the user to try again.

Might be a bit long winded but was a requirement for the person I was crreating the db for and worked quite well in the end...
