I have a company database with Access front end (about 50 users, all with their own front-end copy) and SQL server back end. Another 20 users connect to the database through a terminal server from outside of the company, each user has a desktop with their own front end on the terminal server.
I have many forms with attachments which are mainly pdf, doc, xlsx and also emails (msg file). Users can normally navigate in a form and upload a file or open it for display; for the users on the TS (terminal server) I have installed some document viewer for Word, Excel files, etc. I have a problem to find a suitable application to open the msg files (just for display, no edit) and open the attachments. Does anybody know a good viewer? it should simply click and open the msg file. Alternatively is it possible to load the content of the msg file on a form and display it?
PS: the terminal server doesn't have any software like Word, Excel, Outlook.
