I created a form that is used to log the enquiries we received as well as making appointments. During peak time, up to 7 users might be using the system.

It works fine, but over last week (the freshers week) the system seems to be frozen from time to time (error message: you cannot go to the specific record/ or the system is currently locked, your data cannot be written at this time...etc). If users left it a while, the problem seems to be resolved itself.

Can this be a design problem or network problem?

Anybody knows?

Many thanks in advance for any help you can supply.

With multiple simultaneous users, your database needs to be split into front end/back end, with a copy f the front end on each user's PC and the back end (holding the data in tables) on the network. Is this how it's set up, or are they all accessing the same copy on the network?
