Let me know if you think that this is a better approach than yours.
If YES then refill the database with data (by using the forms this time :) ) and inform me if you find some bugs and/or if you have more requirements/questions.

Good luck !

hi Mihail,

I was after a query so I could export the database, like shown in the Result.jpg. However, I do like the forms, they make easier for entering data. Do you know of a query that I could use to export the data?

Where to export ?
What you are trying to do ?

Fill my database with some real information and send it back in order to have something to test the query you need.

I may have missed read or your database doesn't allow songs to have multiple GENRES. I've attached two databases with data, yours(Song-V2_Mihail) and mine (Song-V2_anhlongqld). If you could please help with the qrySong4Export to have it output like the Result.jpg image.

While I have little knowledge in music area I I thought that a song can have only one genre.
That because also I don't saw in your database a junction (bridge) table Songs-Genres (as I saw for artists). I'll correct this.
May I understand that this is only (single) mistake ?

Works excellent, just what I wanted. Thankyou so much!!!!

Do you know a way I could easily import songs into without typing them into, for example the attached Data.zip

frmSongsArtists and frmSongsGenres don't work.

Before open your new database, give me more information.
From WHERE ? you wish to import songs ?

Importing data from a csv (Data.zip) into tables within Song-V2_Mihail.accdb

To (re)design your database was a help for you in order to understand "how to".
To design the qryExport have been a bit of challenge for me, even I am sure that it is not useful for you.
But, to reverse the process, is only hard work and, also, I'm sure that is not useful for you.
I can't see any reason to play with data between Access and Excel while Access can do anything that Excel can... and more.
