Multiple Forms from Single Table

I have created a database with different forms for different categories of data for employees (ie. Personal Info, Employment Info, Employee Benefits). I put links on the forms so that you can switch between forms without closing down the form and opening the other and searching for the employee. The problem arises when I have made changes to a form and switched to another. When I try to close a window pops up saying that another user has made changes and I will lose what I've done. I appreciate any advice.

Instead of splitting into multiple forms as it sounds like you've done, have you considered using a single TABBED form, putting the data categorically on each tab as necessary ? Sounds like the problem you currently have is that Access thinks more than one of you are changing the same record, since Access (defaults) to locking the record you're editing. HTH JT
