Hi all

I hope you can help

I have a chart the needs to show how many products I have sold in a month/year.

The problem is that I have 10 products that I look into. Access chart wizard says that I can only have 6 items (this includes the axis information)

Does anyone know how I can get all my legends to show

I know it will be a small and crowded chart

Thanks in advance

Id swear Ive had >6 legends. Let the wizard build it, then manually edit it. Ive done it!
(maybe the wizard is stuck with 6)

Thanks for your response

I thought you would be able to manual edit it - but I am not sure how to do it?

Do you have information on how to do this?

access charts are a bit cumbersome, but,
once you have your query of your data,
start blank form,
grab the chart icon, drag to the report,
it opens the chart config, select the chart style,
change the X axis to the your item, (mine has 12),
save

Scottsman,
did you ever get this working?
I'd like to add an additional field to a chart I have.
I've added the additional column to the query behind the chart, but haven't figured out how to add that field to the line graph.
You can right click the chart and edit. A datasheet show with the columns defined which you can add a column to and the chart will change showing the new item, but this won't remain once you go back into form view on the form. So the datasheet must be dynamically built, I don't know where I can modify the original list of x axis fields.
