Multiple Search Criteria

I'm setting up a database that allows users to store, view and catagorise digital photographs. The last thing I have to do is create a search form...and it's proving to be a complete nightmare!!!
The main form lists the details of the photos, such as the name, description and the location (C:\My Documents\Photos etc.).
I have a subform that is linked to the main form that allows users to select one or more categories (family, sport, holidays etc.) for the photo.
I need to be able to have a search form that allows users to search for one or more categories and only those photos are displayed.

Please help, I've been working on this database for months and this is the last thing I need to do!

I think this maybe what you are looking for, but I am not positive if a category is just one field or several. If several then this is what you want. If you want to select several items from a single category then that is another kettle of fish.

If this is not what you want email me and I will post the code to select several items from a single field.

I've been looking around an I've come accross an article concerning 'Filtering a Form on a Field in a Subform' at this address -http://users.bigpond.net.au/abrowne1/ser-28.html

It seems to be what I'm looking for, but I'll try that MS article aswell.

Ah! If you want to filter form the subform then the solution you found is just what you want. Good luck.
