Hi Everyone,
I thought I was finished with a project when
I found out the dates used in the program
all come in with diferent formats.
There is one situation where they send in
a date field with only the month and year.
and the final end result of this field must
be a valid date field.
Each school usually formats their own data,
but sometimes the vendor supplying the
scanning program which formats the date fields.
Even the vendor programs are not
formated the same.
Without rambling on any further, what I am
looking for is a Date Function similar to the one
in the TEXT IMPORT Wizard under the advanced tab.
If anyone knows of any date function which
is even remotely similar, please let me know.
Even if I had to write a function like this,
from scratch, it would still be better than
trying to get everyone involved to format
the date fields the same way.
Thanks in Advance
