I used to watch ( and record) all these TV programs relevant to Jazz and improvised music , we use to have in the past.
Some of them :

The Netherlands - Ned 2 or Ned 3 - North Sea Jazz and lot's of other stuff
Germany - WDR - Live broadcastings of Jazz festivals in Moers, etc.
BBC - There was a program, forgot the name, which featured Pat Metheny, Dave Holland, Weather Report and others.

However, much to my grief, a lot of these TV programs are not continued
nowadays, mainly because of lack of funds , I assume.

In my second home in France, I recently installed satelite TV with decoder, giving me some 200+ free channels, but no music at all.

Is there someone out there who could recommend any music TV channel
worthwhile to watch/listen and/or record in Europe.

I've seen them in museums, fancy having to wait half an hour for the valves to warm up

no plug or lead Len, just new batteries every 2 weeks.

Get yourself a nice cup of tea and a tablet - it'll be better tomorrow. :D ;)

Thanks for all your valid suggestions, Len, Rich , Col
but I was ( and still am) looking for some more serious advise than this.

You guys probably only watch all of these wacky BBC programs, e.g. gardening, snooker, topgear, etc and switch to your wireless once a quality program comes on...... :(
