My new big-ish project - can you help?

During this project, I will end up having multiple questions over a period of time, I really hope you have patience with me....

The database: is for tracking computer issues (this part is complete), also I need to show the on call roster (mostly complete)... This will also have a time sheet that I need to be completed once a fortnight, however I would like it to auto populate the staff members logged information (I will get into that a little later).

Question 1: I do not want the users to log into the database, however I do want the database recognise who they are from their windows logon details... Can you help with my first question? Cheers

Question 2: Can I get the above information to populate back to a table or query it somehow?

You can set the default value of a textbox to one of those, or save it to a textbox when the user logs in and then get it from there.

Hummmm, I have tried many ways to use your answer, however I can't seem to work out how to get the user information to write back to the table...

Typically the textbox would be bound to a field in the table.
