Nav buttons

I'm following some online tuition at the moment and I'm not too sure what they mean by the following;



I'm in a blank form - I've not added anything yet... AFAIK the nav button's are for moving through pages?

The Navigation Buttons are for moving through a Record Set of the form and these instruction are for simply turning them off on the current form. The property is located on the Format tab of the property sheet for the form.

Can't think of a reason why someone would want to turn them off? Options are always good though I guess.
