Hello all,
I am trying to figure out how to add a second grand total column in a pivot. I need one grand total column to show the sum of the columns and another to show the percent of total. I have attached an example of what I would like to do. I manually added the column in red.
Can anyone tell me how to do this?
Thanks

in excel 2007 -

- bring your variable to the 'values' section of the 'pivot table field list' one more time (sum of QT2?);

- go into this variable and choose 'show value as' as '% of total', instead of 'normal';

- hide the columns that show the percentages for 2007 and 2008;

- hope that this will work in your version of excel.

Thanks, That did the trick.
