I have created student registration form table, and a cource registration for table, did normalization. When I make my report it sorts everething by courses and the students in each cource, it allso show by each student when they're cource expires in term of days. examples 20 days, means that the student has 20 more days to go, or -5 means that the cource expired 5 days ago and the student needs to reregister.

What I want to do is when the number of days is >=0 it will highlight the student as green and then the number of days <0 it will highlight the student red.

The second thing is when I look at the report I see I red student the I call the student , the sudent pays me ... But it is so hard to back into the form find that student and the cource he registered in to , he might be registed for 20 cources, so what I would like to do is the user to click on the on the red student and it will open the form at the id that the student was registered in. By saying registered id is the pk of student cource registration for this particular student for a particular cource. Which means that

pk:10 is for Sudent: Geoge Cource: English

pk233: is for the same student but the Cource is: French

which means that the student registered in english at one point of time, but for the french at another point of time. So to make my self clear , I click on the student that is highlighted red and msaccess opens cource reg form at the pk that the student was registed in.

your on the right track you know when the days are >= 0 then change the backcolor of the object or the forcolor. that will give you the color. I am not too sure on the other part though.

Reports are not interactive, so you can't click on a report and open a form. What you should do is use the Combobox wizard to add a search combo to your forms.
