Need Help in database design...

Dear All,

I am designing a new database for Human Resource. In attendance table I can import and calculate attendance for employee. My problem is I can not understand how I will allocate leaves and Holidays ?... Can anybody give me advice regarding this issue? Any advice will be appriciated.

i would just treat the leaves and holidays as attendence, for the purpose of calculating days absent
 
How to add leave and holiday

Thank you very much for your reply. But I wonder how should I insert the holiday and leave information. My attendance data is pulled from Time attendance card reader machine. So, we don't get any data for holiday and leave from machine. can you please guide me?
