Need help populating Date Ranges

I have a database where i am tracking what people will be doing for periods at a time...

ie

name activity start date end date
timmy coloring eggs 1/09 5/09

I need to know how to put that in a report and show on a monthly table that timmy will be coloring eggs for 1/09-5/09.

ie

Timmy 1/09 2/09 3/09 4/09 5/09 6/09 7/09
coloring eggs X X X X X

I set up a query that shows an x value for the start date and end date..but how do i create something to fill in the in between.

Welcome to the forum.

timmy coloring eggs 1/09 5/09. That representation would normally mean January 2009 - May 2009. Obviously that wouldn't be the case, so please define what you are trying to express.

Right....but I want to show a chart/graph or just regular report that shows the months inbetween those 2 dates and that timmy is coloring eggs for those months as well.

So like i said, obviously jan and may will show up on a report...but how do i make so feb march and april show up as months that timmy will be coloring eggs as well?

You're absolutely correct.

I couldn't imagine anyone coloring eggs for 4 months, but didn't tie that to course work. If anything. 'timmy' should have been the tip-off.
