need help with printing

On my forms, I have a button that prints that specific record which works great. Now I need to print page "____ of ___" only if a certain criteria is true. I know how to always print it but is there any way I can print it at certain times and not others?

You could use an "If.... Then" code and if your criteria is true then DoCmd.PrintOut [printrange],[pagefrom],[pageto],[printquality],[copies],[collatecopies]
