Need MouseWheel.dll from MS KB278379 Article

Hello,

I would like to implement the .dll solution for disabling the Mousewheel suggested in the MS Knwledge Base article KB278379. I do not have a copy of VB6.0 that I could use to create an Active X dll and was hoping that someone could provide a compiled version of this dll file. Or, if there is a way to create an ActiveX dll from the MS Access VBA IDE, I'd like to know how. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I take it the warnings in the article did not scare you off. There are other ways to disable the mouse wheel without using DLLs and ActiveX.

Check out the nomouse.zip sample [near the bottom of page 1] I posted at Has a solution to this ever been discovered?

Many thanks for both replies. The .dll is working fine thus far. If extensive testing proves otherwise I'll certainly look into the alternatives you've provided.
