Need to Update Form/Subform

I have a form/subform that is opened from a Main form command button.

MAIN FORM ------>FORM
|______>Last Name First Name MI Emp.#
|
Subform

I need to close the Form/Subform and have it re-open with the same data in the four fields at the top of the FORM (derived from the Main Form).

I have tried everything I can think of and I have not been able to make that happen. I want it to happen after "Change" in a field on the subform.

Any ideas?

Why not just Requery the main form? (See the Requery function).
