I'm wondering if someone can refer me to a template that I can start with.

This is a rough overview of what I am hoping for... I am guessing I can start with some kind of an inventory template. We build farm equipment.

I want to be able to enter my raw materials on different tables that will include raw steel materials, hydraulic components, fasteners, and then some other parts as well.
From there I want to be able to form a price list - each item will be made up of:
1) at least one, sometimes several raw components off of my table(s)
2) one or more of labor time from just simple employee time, or from time on a different mill, saw, etc. - this should probably come from a table, too.
3) possibly an overhead figure or percentage
4) some will have a "custom hire" addition as well

Then - this price list will be used to form an even bigger price list that will be the final cost and detail for the whole big piece(s) of equipment.

This is my problem - we do not keep track of our inventory on a regular basis - it is way too in depth to click off all the components when a whole big piece of equipment is sold because sometimes different parts/steel burnings are used for the same type of equipment.

So - I want to be able to keep track of the count of how many of the raw materials that I have ever purchased - but I won't keep track of how many I currently have on hand. I wonder if there is an inventory template that I could start with and just not have the current inventory counts so obvious - so I could balance my inventory at the end of the year when I actually do take a physical inventory count. But I won't be doing any invoicing customers in access.

Hopefully someone can help me out - I can figure out how to do some changes myself - just not how to design the whole database.

Thank you very much!
