AOL tricked me into trying new email. Now I can't get back to old one. Anybody know how to get back to get back to old format

If it didn't uninstall your old product, then you click the Windows "Start" button (lower left) >> Settings >> Apps >> Default Apps - and from there you can tell it what you want to use for managing e-mail. I would advise that the moment you get back the one you want, you do the same path but stop at Apps and tell it to uninstall AOL's mail. But not until you have the correct mail package re-established.

If it DID uninstall your previous package, I hope you have the install kit.

Thanks for the answer, but if I am reading your answer correctly it is telling me to select what email service I want. I may have stated my question correctly. I use AOL and need to stay with AOL as all my stationary has AOL email address on it, plus my wife doesn't want to give up her email address. The trick AOL played on me is just try our new email format. So I tried it. It is terrible. Now I can't get back to the old format.

I would go into the settings and see if there is a "switch to classic view" or something that sounds or looks a bit like that.

Gmail has often tried new crap too, but fortunately, always leaves the "switch to classic view" available - Yahoo as well.

PS don't try windows 11 if you don't like losing wonderful things! They have TAKEN AWAY the "never combine" task bar setting and the ONLY way to get it back is to run an executable someone made on sourceforge. Microsoft is a bunch of idiots.

Hallelujah, there's an old saying where there's a will there's a way, but it took me a long time to find it, and right in the middle of sending out my support letters. No matter what I googled about "setting" it would come up with people who wanted to charge me for advice. AOL would not tell me where to find settings. I then thought about asking how to change my signature. It brought up settings link. Someday I will get my revenge with AOL. Of course, then I will have to cuss out Gmail etc., etc. etc.
Thanks for all the tried to help
