Hi I'm Nick, aka the boy holty.
I'm a SQL Server developer by trade and I've dabbled with dot net programming with asp.net, vb and c# but my new role involves a bit of Access development.
My first instinct when being asked to make change after change to these Access DBs is to re-write the whole thing as a web front end and a SQL back end but there simply isn't time, so I find myself learning new skills. Its all CV fodder isn't it?
So here I am. I'm based in Bolton, Lancashire but I live just a few miles away in Ramsbottom, near Bury and I'm a fan of Bury FC (for my sins).
