New Record

I have a treeview consisting of three levels. The treeview triggers a query that display sub forms relevant to the data on the three levels, all work fine. I have a new record button, this open the form in "add new record mode" and on save will it update the treeview. All works fine, except that the forms do not requery any more. It seems like the form stays in "Add" mode. If I close the main form and reopens, will it work again. Any sugestions.

I have something, perhaps, similar whereby I have Membership Records split between a Main form (header details only i.e. membership code) and a Subform (all other details). The Main form contains 1100+ records in Continuous Form layout. My "add new record" button is on the Main form, and when clicked it presents a new 'blank' membership code for me to add and all other records 'disappear' at this point.

I think this is perhaps the effect you are experiencing?

I have a vertical scroll bar and record navigation buttons built into the Main Form to help me navigate back into to all previously existing records which are still there in the query filling the Main form.
