I'm located in Charlotte, NC, and work for the Charlotte Dept. of Transportation (CDOT). We use MS Access for tracking some of our Events, Parades, and Arena Events in the uptown area. My little chunk of CDOT is responsible for reviewing construction plans and issuing Permits for construction of underground utilities in the 2500 miles of city-maintained streets.
