Hello!

I have just started exploring databases and I am very new in the area. However, I have this quite advanced (to me anyway) task where I have to create a form for a rather large database.

The database in question is about Soccer and the organization within, and the form needs to be able to register teams to tournaments in a good way.

I have no real experience with forms, and this seems alien to me. Anyone who can help me out here?

I can provide my database for you if you want. :)

It sounds like you would have a main form that was based on Teams and a subform based on Tournaments.

Search on One to Many Access and also Normalisation.

Basically a Team might have 8 tournaments. The 8 tournaments are 8 records that relate to that team and they are linked by and ID field. The subform displays the tournament details in a tabular format.

I think it may also be the inverted way, he may have a main form where he can add and edit tournaments, and then a subform where he can select each team that is signing up for the tournament.

The one to many relationship would still be the same I believe, each tournament can have many teams signed up.
