Hi All,

I have a question of the functionality of Crystal Reports. I presently have a database which is our course booker, which in it's front end has a Crystal Reports tool. Separately to that I have a second database which has a large number of modules, reports and tables to produces all manner of financial data about the data.

I would be interested to know if Crystal reports has the ability to have computational modules in it - similar to the "Modules" in MS Access, so that potentially I could put it all into one database.

Many Thanks
Graham

As far as I know - but it is early Crystal report days for me as well -, Crystal reports is reporting only... select and display.

Any coding will have to go on inside your database(s).

Actually I am hoping someone will come along and prove me wrong.

You can create functions within CR, but as Nam has said, CR is for reporting out of a database, not for using as a database.
