Newbie To Searches through Forms

I have a form with a search text field, inwhich i want the user to type in a value to the search text and then I want a query which would search two tables and return which table the results in. i.e

Form:
Search Text Field ----> ABC12345

Table 1
Date
Container Number -----> No Record of that number

Table 2
Date
Container Number ------> Number Found

Result of Search

Date
Container Number ABC12345
Table 2

Can any one advise how to do this??

Glad to help. If you look at the double click event of the top list box you will see it is set to open a sales form and view the details of selected record. I am sure this will assist in viewing full details of your records.
