I am printing continuous labels using an MS Access 2000 report. I would like the printer to stop printing after it’s done with out running to the bottom of the report and wasting labels. Is there a way to tell the printer to stop and with no carriage return?

Thanks
Roger

Not really. You can just keep feeding the label sheet through and having your report print to a different label each time. Also, make sure you tell the report to print across then down, not down then across.

I have an experience using lables. Before printing, i write a program to ask user to fill in a number which represent how many lables have been printed from the top?
If user use a new label sheet, the user can fill in with 0.
This way of programming, allow me to stop worrying to stop the printer after printing the last lable... instead worrying how the printer can start printing from the first lable that is not at the top of lable sheet.
