For some reason I cannot scroll horizontally through the datasheet in splitform view, even though I have Scroll Bars set to "Both".
Any thoughts?

I don't use the Access split forms but do use datasheet subforms where this problem can arise:

I presume you cannot see all of the columns? If all columns are visible horizontal scroll is disabled

Otherwise have you frozen a number of columns which exceed the width of your form? - rightclick a column header and select unfreeze all columns

Thanks! It was the unfreeze... The reason I froze it, was to keep a certain order of columns. Do you know how to keep the column order after re-ordering?

You can't as such by using the form options but I think it can be done in VBA

For Datasheet properties you need to refer to the columns collection so set widths, frozen etc

Not quite sure what it will be so you'll need to investigate further (Sorry I'm working on something else).

It will be something thing like form.columns.allowfreezecolumns = false or me.allowfeezecolumns=false

Found it... The column order follows the tab order on the form...

This is an old thread but I just had the same problem.

All the settings were as expected to make this work.

The trick was to shorten the height of the main form where the subform was embedded (or use the vertical scroll bar on the main form to scroll down even though the entire subform was showing)
