No Menu or Tool bars

Any way to keep the menu bar from showing up on startup?

I do not want any kind of tool or menu bar on the db.

Everytime I uncheck the Menu bar it comes back on a new startup.

So is there a way to keep all tool and menu bars from coming up?

Sure... I use

DoCmd.ShowToolbar "Database", acToolbarNo
DoCmd.ShowToolbar "Table Design", acToolbarNo
DoCmd.ShowToolbar "Form View", acToolbarNo
DoCmd.ShowToolbar "Menu Bar", acToolbarNo
DoCmd.Maximize

I put this on a password form's On Open Event in which I ask for a certain password. If the password is not the super special secret developer's password, it maintains the "No toolbar" rule. Otherwise, it puts all the Toolbars back so that I can have access to go in and change designs, etc. (Don't want to lock yourself out!!!!) And also, please be kind to the users and do not take their toolbars away permanently. Be certain to call their Toolbars back for them when they exit your application.
