Noob help please

Hi Guys

Ok I need to start by saying I am new to Access 2007 and may want to do something that is not possible but i'll ask the question anyway.

I have a db that shows the status of a current part of a project, either Major, Minor, Acceptable or Unknown.

What I want to do is create a qry that when run shows a chart of the statuses hopefully in pie format.

Can this be done, and if so how because i'm failing.

You need to use the Chart Wizard in Reports. Get the wizard to pick the pick the fields you wish to report on from a selected table or query and follow the steps including chart type required, legends, etc.
