((noob)) how to show a report on a form?

I need some help.

i'm trying to track a rolling 30 day variance total (per staff member) and show the results in a form.

I can run a report that shows every instance and a total at the bottom but instead of opening a 'view report' window i just want the 30 day rolling total to be in the form i use to lookup the staff member. i'm sure there's something that i've overlooked... any and all help would be appreciated!

eventually i'd like to have it fire off an email when 3 certain thresholds are exceeded. ..but i'll save that for another post.

I would recommend using a sub form. You can place the totals in the sub form's footer, like on a report.
