Noob VB question(s)

im trying to make a receiving part on my program that automatically changes the location of the item when it is received. i have up to 10 items that can be in any one received order at a time. i know i have to dlookup the info but what is command to change it?

here is what i have so far for the S/N's that i want to change:

 If Me.Sai_Serial_Number_1r.Value = DLookup("[Sai Serial Number]", "[Main Inventory]", "[Sai Serial Number] = '" & Me.Sai_Serial_Number_1r & "'") Then

there labeled Sai Serial Number 1-10r and the location is named location on the main inventory table. the information im checking the Sai Serial Number 1-10r values on the receiving screen is the Sai serial numbers on the Main inventory table. actuality i probably have to throw in an (Not IsNull and "") in there in case of blank fields.


Now the Shipping side same deal 10 numbers if any of them say the Location that is not valid i want a screen to pop up prompting the change. i made the screen.........crap i just figured this one out as i was typing lol.

but any help on the shipping thing would be grate. also still now to DLookup dose it look ok?

Quick edit in referance to my Isnull up there i was adding it in how would i go about adding is null and "" here is what i put in:

 If Me.Sai_Serial_Number_1r.Value = "" Then
   
   Else
   
        If Me.Sai_Serial_Number_1r.Value = DLookup("[Sai Serial Number]", "[Main Inventory]", "[Sai Serial Number] = '" & Me.Sai_Serial_Number_1r & "'") Then
