Not e-mail a second time

On a form I have a control button that sets off MS Outlook to send e-mail. If I cancel the e-mail, I can not send another e-mail until I have closed the application (Access 2000) and relaunched it. The same applies once the e-mail has been sent sucessfully ie you have to close Access to send another e-mail.

Any ideas?

You are no doubt using the docmd.sendobject method. This is a typical problem with this method in A2k.
Here is a post that describes the problem, a relevant link and an alternative way to send e-mails. I suggest that you follow one of the methods such as using the outlook object model which offers more power and versatility.

Yes I am using the docmd.sendobject command.
What puzzles me is that this cmd has worked fine in other db I've put together but goes toes up in this one?
