Not Like operator. <>Like

How do I use the Like Operator to query for records that do not have some particular data in them. I know how to query for records that do have the word "Boston" in a particular field; Like"*Boston*". I want the records that do not have "boston" anywhere in field1.
I have tried <>Like"*Boston*" and I get a message saying incorrect syntax.
