A colleague of mine suddenly has all her numbers in Excel displayed as what looks like percentages - but without the percentage sign; e.g. 10 displays as 0.10, but 0.5 shows as 0 (presumably as display is set to two decimal places). This affects all old as well as new worksheets - but if she passes them on to someone, the number formats on anyone else's PC show correctly.

She has had Office re-installed, to no effect. Can anyone help?

Many thanks.

Decimals

Check the following on that troubled PC:

On the Tools menu, click Options. When the Options dialog box opens, click the Edit tab and then clear the Fixed decimal check box.

Hope this helps

Many thanks - that certainly seems to replicate the problem on my PC. I'll pass it on and let you know if that fixes it. Have a great day.
