Number Problem

I am having a slight issue with my tables; I have a column that will have number entered into it anything from 0.5 to 100.

The problem I have is it will not accept 0.5 it just defaults this to 0, 10.5 defaults to 10 etc etc

I have it set up as following:

Data Type: Number
Field Size: Long integer
Format: General Number
Decimal Places: 2

What am I doing wrong?

You will need to set you filed size to double. An integer is does not except anything after the deciaml place

Read up on data types in the Access Help Files so you can avoid this problem later.

Kiwiman is correct, by the way.

And if you can't deal with floating point rounding errors, use currency instead of double.
