Hi all

Seasons greetings.

I have decided to and build a database, as a hobby, but know very little about them, sadly!!

I will start a thread to explain about what I need it to do and a little about why.

Is it ok to ask about Excel in here too?
I will be using it to do the maths and input all the formulas because the data comes in csv format from 2 different sources and I would like to use Access for storage and retrieval.

I am away on holiday for about 3 weeks now, but will try and pop in here, briefly, whilst I am away. (google "Crimbo Limbo") It sort of sums me up!!

There is an Excel thread section as well as an Access thread section. Since it is primarily an Access forum, the Access section is subdivided whereas the Excel section is lumped in with the other MS Office utilities.

And by the way, Season's Greetings back at you!
