hi everybody

i have a field with a textbox called "WARRANTY PERIOD"
it is enterd in months ...for example--- 18 months
i have a 2 fields "date of sale"
"date of return"

i need a field called "WARRANTY EXPIRY DATE"
THE VALUE SHOULD BE "DATE OF SALE" + "WARRANTY PERIOD"

since the "WARRANTY PERIOD" is in months, iam not able to calculate the
"WARRANTY EXPIRY DATE"

PLEASE HELP

Look up the dateadd function in the access help, that will do this trick for you.

DateAdd ("m", 5, #22/11/2003#) or

=DateAdd("m",[WARRANTYPERIOD]+[EXTENDEDWARRANTY],[DCDATE])-1
