Numbering registries in a report

Hi!

I want to make a report (invoice) like this:

INVOICE ID: ........

item n° | product | description | unitary price | total..
1
2
3
....

is there a way to have an automatic ITEM N° for each item that the invoice has? actually in the tables this is a 1-many relationshiop (TRANSACTIONS-PRODUCTS)

I guess there might be a special function like the one for the pagination of a report.

Thank you Tony although that example DB was pretty different from what I wanted and really couldn't make it work the way I wanted (since I'm using 1-many relationship).

Instead I used the RunningSum property of a textbox in a report.
