Numbers do not appear in report

I have a series of reports, all of which are sorted by a job number, and which include very important dates. The problem is that suddenly the numbers stopped showing up on the reports. The text appears, the dashes in the dates appear, but no numbers. The computer in question is used for Chinese translation, and there is a concern that those programs could be interfering somehow, but I wanted to rule out an Access problem before we consider that. I have tried putting new local copies on the hard drive (the tables are all linked to a master copy), but even this does not solve the number problem. The same local copy works fine on other computers...
Any suggestions?
