Let's say the DOJ decides Obama lied or conspired in some criminal capacity and actually arrests him tomorrow.

What would you think of that, and why? What do you think the fallout would be from that, and do you think your choice about him being arrested takes that into account - if so, why?

The only problem I see is what the DOJ has become under trump.

I read today that out of 38 cases brought before grand juries in L.A. due to the immigration raids, they were only able to indict 7. That's so out of character for the Feds.

My concern over what Obama is purported to have done is whether (a) it was done in line with a direct or tangential presidential duty (in which case SCOTUS would say the President has qualified immunity) or (b) there isn't enough evidence.

Obama was/is the Manchurian Candidate. The enemy within.
The irony is that in the Democrats in their attempts to get Trump, have inadvertently protected Obama, as President, from the consequences of his illegitimate actions of using the power-of-the state to get Trump.

The fundamental tragedy is that the Democrats were "first" to explicitly implement the repugnant third world strategy of arresting political opponents. Now that Obama's (Democratic party) scam has been exposed, Republicans will be susceptible to being accused of playing third world (arrest) politics even-though it was the Democrats who started it. Democrats are the ultimate masters of language manipulation and propaganda. The public unfortunately is gullible.

Since this topic came-up, the issue goes beyond Trump. We have: General Flynn, Roger Stone, Steve Bannon, and Peter Navarro; besides others. These were all political hit jobs by the Democrats. Don't forget the inappropriate Trump impeachments, the Russia Hoax, the 14th Amendment, and Bragg's ridiculous charge of falsifying business records. There is history in the Democrats abhorrent actions.

Fortunately for Obama and the Democrats, Republicans don't have courage to go for the jugular. So Obama will get to skate by.

I have no problem with Obama being arrested if he committed a crime. Did you have a problem with Trump being arrested when he was charged with made up crimes?

Obama, Clinton, and Biden would never do time. Trump would pardon them all if it came to that. Although treason does come with the death penalty. I don't think the DOJ would push treason though because of the penalty. I'm not even sure that a coup qualifies as treason. But proving that the three of them conspired to overthrow the presidency would be good enough. Looks like Gabbard has the goods. They were in it up to their armpits.

As an add-on that I previously overlooked (thanks to @AccessBlaster). Hunter Biden's Laptop from hell. The media, such as AP News, attempted to suppress. The question of whether Obama should be arrested has now gone from speculative fringe theory to a documented criminal conspiracy.

Ironically, Democrats attempted to assert that Presidents are not immune from criminal conduct in an attempt to get Trump. Democrats should be profusely thanking the US Supreme Court for giving them that relief opportunity. Obama may escape justice (arrest) due to that limited immunity.
