I think Term Limits and limits on investments while serving could be 2 big part of cleaning up politics
Can't argue with either. At least there won't be any way around term limits. I wonder how the SEC can control the insider trading issue. When I worked for an investment management company, I was registered with the SEC because I was not allowed (nor my husband either) to have a personal investment account because technically I had inside information on what WIS was planning to buy and sell. I could only have a managed account with my employer and they did all my trades based on their "approved list". The investment team decided on all securities that they would buy for clients and which they would sell. If you moved an account there, you could tell them to not sell your IBM but unless IBM was on the approved list, they would never buy more.

The dems find themselves in a circular firing squad, they're attacking each other left and right. The repbubs only need to sit back and watch. Good news is the enemy of the left right now.

Their current difficulty is based in the "No True Scotsman" fallacy. John Fetterman is the latest public victim.

The Dems will kick out or erase or abandon anyone who has even the slightest non-orthodox viewpoint on the most trivial little policy. If they go far enough, they'll eliminate everyone to the point that there will be only "one true democrat" left. I have no idea who that would be. But whoever it is, s/he will have to hope to gain "Endangered Species" status. Or maybe we'll be lucky enough for that person to be captured and mummified and put in a museum somewhere. Whoever gets that singular honor will probably feel very much alone and abandoned.

As Elon Musk has said "those people used to be my friends". He's a billionaire and seriously difficult to hurt. How about "lesser" people. How about those who've actually lost their jobs for saying something unsupported by the current version of reality practiced by their coworkers?

Say it again - Amen and Amen!

Quit blaming successful people for one's lack of. You can climb the same ladder most of them did. Don't focus on the few that started out wealthy, focus on the myriad who came up from the bottom. I know tons of them in the restaurant industry, you can be a DM making $200k within 5-7 years if you are relatively smart and actually want to.

I think they need to do go ahead and unashamedly and unapologetically make cuts to Medicare Medicaid and food stamps. Not meaning necessarily lowering the level of coverage, but doing something to ensure that people who don't need it aren't on it. I know multiple people who are doing extremely well in life financially, yet they have fixed things in such a way that they are on these types of programs and are basically abusing the system. Those people need to be kicked off

I think we all do. I noticed that the House fully funded USAID. Guess too many of them were on that gravy train to turn it off:poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop::poop:

They showed a few other Marxist salutes also from Obama and Hillary. If the left didn't have double standards, they would have no standards at all. Typical hypocrisy.

The cartoon below, while on-point, does not do justice to the bigger picture. The Democratic party (since at least the "nomination" of Hillary Clinton for president in 2016) has not been based on democratic principles. One of the primary (behind the scenes manipulative) King Makers has been James Clyburn who gave us Biden.

An interesting follow-up. Today, I ran across a similar cartoon to the one above plus a story on Cuba suppressing free speech. I've also included an unverified Brazilian story concerning Carlos Bolsonaro. It should be pointed-out that it is unknown whether Bolsonaro actually committed a crime or is simply the victim or political suppression.

If you think back to 2016, you might ask yourself why DJT, a lifelong Democrat, decided to run as a Republican. I'll help you out. In 2008, it was technically Hillary's "turn" to be the Democrat nominee. However, Black trumps Woman in the boxes game and so Obama was anointed. That meant that in 2016 they couldn't possibly skip over Hil again to run Biden which would have been expected as he was the outgoing VP. That meant, that if DJT wanted to run in 2016, he had a snowball's chance in hell of gaining the nomination given the way these things are fixed by the DNC so he changed his party affiliation to Republican and the rest is history. And the Dems will never, ever forgive him for that run around play as we can see. Didn't phase them at all that they had to do 180's on their major policy platforms. There was no way they could ever be on the same side of an issue as DJT.
