We have several users, working with a desktop copy of a database. The users run the database through Access runtime 2010.

On some of the PCs MS Office Home and Business ver 2013 is installed, and others MS Office Home and Business ver 2010.

The PCs where Office version 2010 is installed runs the Spelling checker fine, but the systems that have Office version 2013 is installed, displays a message, "Spell checker not installed".

We have tried re-installing the Office 2013, but it does not give you an option to install the Review Tools separately. Also in MS Word 2013, the spell checker is working fine.

These machine do not have a full installation of Access and only run through Access runtime.

We also tried to install Access runtime 2013, and that also gives the spell check problem.

It looks like the problem is on the Office 2013 version?

We need assistance urgently. Your help will be greatly appreciated

I figured out that those PC's that had the problem had an unlicensed trail version of MS office installed. We uninstalled that and then ran it with Access runtime 2013.

That solved the issue.
