I searched to no avail.

I want to make a shortcut. Keydown.... but anywhere on the form..

I have tried Form_AfterUpdate()

Private Sub Form_KeyPress(KeyAscii As Integer)
If KeyAscii = "myutest" Then
cmdSendMail.SetFocus
End If
End Sub

would be the ideal place ... I first need to get into the sub, which at this time doesn't happen.

why am I doing this. idiots using program, lazy people using it.

when they press "end" on keyboard I want to goto cmdSendMail. regardless of where the are on form...

any ideas...???

Sorry, answered myself again....

Well... in testing keydown in an actual txtBox to find keycode for end...

I found out they can press end to goto the last of the tab indexes....

So duh, they can just hit end after entering there data and boom they are on sendmail...

I don't post right away I just continue working on it while I wait for replies and happen to stumble on them at times. My Boss is jewish, so time is money so if I get stuck too long I post.

Anyhow sorry for wasting time and space...

Perhaps some will learn and use what I was looking for to help users and give them a short cut for sending info / data...
