And once again one of Col's Posts has been highjacked.
Best entertainment I've had all day and it wasn't even Col making statements.

Brian,
For me to dispute his facts, which I believe was only one in number and referred to an alternative, obscure alternative name for the Crow tribe, would reduce me to the same level as those who dispute mine, even when my facts pertain to such humdrum and insignificant things as my once being in the Army, or owning an Aston Martin etc.
Hardly 'obscure alternative name' when 85% of the members of the Crow Nation speak the Crow dialect of Sioux language, you would learn that if you were resident guest in their reservation, you would also know that it is a major insult to be a wannabe native North American.
You need to check your facts further then Google sometimes.
Sorry for the previous spelling mistake, English is not my first language, but at least it gave you an avenue to avoid directly answering when someone calls you out on something you wrote.
To get back to the original post. I noticed earlier today that Yahoo has posted some photos of 'Ghost' towns you can visit.
FYI: I find Marlin47's posts interesting. Since I can neither prove or disprove any of his statement. I tend not to make any comments on them.
Look ! I spent some while on the Crow reservation TWENTYFIVE YEARS AGO !
back in 1988. Just how the f--k do you expect to recall an obscure detail all those years ago, especially when I divided my time between getting drunk, sweating my ass off in Indian sweat lodges and screwing virgins ( once again,
I suggest you read about Lewis and Clark ). Any other time I spent was given to fishing, hunting and repairing my Chevy station wagon which ran off the road in a blizzard and rolled over twice before coming to a halt upside down in a frozen
river bed.
So, you are not English . That's your misfortune . If you were you'd likely have had the good manners and politeness to refrain from repeatedly inferring that someone else is a liar. I cannot prove the truth of what I say ; similarly you cannot disprove it. Why don't you just stop reading my posts and cease being a
pain in the arse ! Better still, why not try to make a useful, interesting or amusing contribution instead ?
Quite a pedestrian answer to get all frustrated and cuss when you slip up with a tall tale. If you tell the truth there is less to have to dig in your memory to remember when you recount a story.
Multilingualism is an advantage, not a disadvantage, you will discover this if you ever do have the chance to travel.
Mr Marlin threw his toys out the pram with me a while ago on another thread when I caught one of his stories out, that is exactly how he reacts when he knows he has been found out...
Getting a little boring now...
He says he has left, he said that before too, yet came back... he may yet do a houdini and reappear... again...![]()
