Okay, I have read some of the other threads and I am not really able to follow what needs to be done.

I have a file of product images located on my harddrive, and I would like to have the images displayed in their respective record. However, the image only displays an icon stating the image name.

Also, is there a max size the image can be to display in the DB?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, as this is the easiest way I have to track my data before sending to my commerce site.

Best Regards,

Irish

RuralGuy... that didnt help... any other ideas? I have OLE Object set as the data type in my table, and I inserted a Bound Object Frame in the Form. However, when I go to insert the image (ie. 1506.jpg), all the displays is jpg icon and the image name where I need the image to display.

Thanks.

I haven't looked at that code in a while but it seems to me it demonstrates three different methods to display a picture. Which are you using? are you planning to bloat up your database with the images? If not then your field is just a text field with the filename of the picture.

I am just going to use the BMP files. I got those to work fine. However, how do i make the pic larger, than it is, on the form. Right now the pic is showing the same size as if an icon was loaded up.

Thanks,

Irish

I wish I could help further but what I know about graphics can fit inside the period at the end of a sentence. I do think that BitMaps are a fixed format and jpg is a compressed format and more flexible as to size but I could be wrong.

Maybe Stephan Lebans has something you can use. He has done extensive work with graphics.
