Please help!
I have tried all the instructions from this site (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=%2fsearch%2fviewDoc.aspx%3fdocID%3dKC.Q295824%26dialogID%3d1550125%26iterationID%3d1%26sessionID%3danonymous%7c1372837) and still have the following problem.
When I try to attach a word document to a bound object frame in Access XP, it attaches (shows in the box), but produces an error when I try to save the record or move to another field.
The error says:
The operation on the document object failed.
The OLE Server may not be registered.
To register the OLE Server, reinstall it.
Here is the code that runs on the click even of my button:
Me.LetterDoc.SourceDoc = "C:\My Documents\Colorado trip.doc"
Me.LetterDoc.OLETypeAllowed = acOLELinked
Me.LetterDoc.Action = acOLECreateLink
I have checked all my references and there are none missing.
This code worked perfectly in Access 97 and 2K. I just recently upgraded to XP and I desperately need this function back.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
