Hi all, as an Access newbie I'm slowly picking things up.
I'm just here to confirm something I've noticed.
So far I've made 3 forms...one of them is bound the other two are un-bound. (By bound and un-bound, my understanding of the difference between the two is that bound forms have a query in the "record source." Allowing the control boxes in the form to be linked to that query. Whereas the control boxes on the unbound form aren't linked at all to the form. Correct?)
Anyway what I've noticed is that with the "on dirty" event of the bound form, I'm able to create an undo macro that works. But on an unbound form I cannot use an undo macro on the "on dirty" event of the form, instead I've had to resort to the "on dirty" event of a control.
